EASA 2022 Conference: apply for AGENET panel sponsorship/badge

The current call for panels for the biennial EASA conference is now open. Just like at the EASA 2020, this year the EASA Age and Generations Network (AGENET) can also sponsor one panel and offer a selected number of AGENET badges to the panels related to the network’s thematic focus. The sponsored panel will automatically be accepted into the EASA 2022 programme. It also will receive additional advertising support from AGENET and have the option to publish panel outputs on the network’s website. Other proposed panels must go through the normal peer-reviewed process by the conference’s scientific committee. If selected, these panels can still be badged as an AGENET panel. The badged panels will also receive publishing support and an opportunity to publish outputs on the AGENET website.

If you would like your proposal to be considered as an AGENET sponsored/badged panel, then please send your proposal to the AGENET convenors (Matthew Lariviere and Barbara Pieta) by 23:59 GMT on 13th January 2022. Your proposed panel must also be submitted to EASA via the conference website.

AGENET members will then vote for their preferred panel to receive the AGENET sponsorship. The convenors will publish the link and deadline to vote on Facebook and the AGENET listserv. The co-convenors will only vote in event of a tie between two or more panels. They will then communicate the result to AGENET members and notify the EASA 2022 organising committee.

Please email your panel proposals to Matthew Lariviere (matthew.lariviere@bristol.ac.uk) and Barbara Pieta (pieta@eth.mpg.de).
