EASA 2022

17th EASA Biennial Conference at Queen’s University Belfast, 26-29 July, 2022

The 17th EASA Biennial Conference entitled Transformation, Hope and the Commons was organized as a hybrid event on 26-29 July, 2022 at the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics at Queen’s University Belfast. During the conference, AGENET sponsored the panel “Afterlife counts: the economics and materiality of funerals and dealing with death” and organized a reunion, where we summarized the network activities of 2020-2022, welcomed the new network convenors, and discussed plans for the upcoming two years.

Before the conference, we circulated the AGENET Guide for the EASA 2022 highlighting a set of panels and labs definitely of interest to the network members. For those of you who could not attend the conference, we prepared an overview of some of these events. Many thanks to the panel and lab organizers for sharing their reports with us!
